Job Description

Sales & Business Development

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for construction equipment and spare parts.
  • Drive sales of

    Yanmar mini excavators

    ,

    Dozco rock breakers

    , and

    HEMM parts

    .
  • Develop new customers including contractors, quarry owners, mining operators, rental companies, and infrastructure firms.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, site visits, and customer meetings.
  • Monitor competitor activity and implement sales strategies to improve market share.
  • Ensure timely order processing, invoicing, deliveries, and payment collections.

Branch Operations Management

  • Handle end-to-end branch operations including sales, service coordination, spares, inventory, logistics, a,nd administration.
  • Ensure adequate stock availability and effective inventory control.
  • Coordinate with service and spare parts teams to ensure smooth after-sales support.
  • Control branch expenses and ensure profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and statutory requirements.

Team Recruitment & Leadership

  • Recruit, train, and manage sales executives, service engineers, and support staff.
  • Assign targets and monitor individual and team performance.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, reviews, and training sessions.
  • Build a motivated, result-oriented branch team.

Market Development & Brand Promotion

  • Strengthen brand presence through customer meets, demos, exhibitions, and road shows.
  • Develop strong relationships with key customers, consultants, and influencers in the territory.
  • Identify new business opportunities and untapped markets.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Ensure high customer satisfaction through timely service and support.
  • Handle key customer issues and escalations effectively.
  • Build long-term customer relationships to generate repeat business.

Reporting & MIS

  • Prepare and submit regular MIS reports on sales, leads, inventory, collections, and market feedback.
  • Provide business insights and improvement suggestions to management.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education

  • Graduate / Diploma in Engineering, Mechanical preferred
  • MBA (Sales/Marketing) will be an added advantage

Experience

  • Minimum

    820 years of experience

    in

    construction equipment sales

  • At least 5

    years in a leadership or branch management role

  • Experience in handling

    excavators, rock breakers, mining or quarry equipment

    preferred

Skills Required

  • Strong sales and negotiation skills
  • Proven team handling and recruitment experience
  • Good knowledge of construction, mining, and infrastructure markets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multi-district territories independently
