Job Description

Role & responsibilities Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve performance targets and drive overall sales growth. Ensure superior customer service and maintain high customer satisfaction levels, fostering long-term relationships. Conduct regular visits to the top twenty in-fold and out-of-fold customers to strengthen relationships and identify sales opportunities. Address and resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and professionally, maintaining the brand's reputation. Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate stock of spare parts, maintaining optimal Min-Max inventory levels to meet customer demand. Manage the branch's budget, ensuring effective cost control and profitability while meeting sales targets. Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of a skilled, motivated sales team to drive business performance. Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and implement improvement plans for team development. Ensure strict adherence to dealership policies, procedures, and relevant industry regulations. Oversee the safety and security of the branch premises, staff, and assets, ensuring a safe working environment. Provide regular reports on branch performance, activities, and sales progress to senior management for strategic decision-making. Drive the utilization of Cummins tools and processes, including the Cummins Sales Process and Customer Relationship Management (CRM), to enhance sales effectiveness and customer engagement. Preferred candidate profile Education: Diploma / Bachelor's degree (Engineering) preferred; MBA is a plus. Experience: 8-12 years in sales, business development, or branch operations; proven track record in driving revenue growth. Skills: Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills; proficiency in CRM tools and sales processes. Industry Exposure: Automotive, Power Generation, Energy Solutions, or Engineering sectors. Behavioral Traits: Results-driven, customer-focused, problem-solving mindset with the ability to work under pressure. Other: Willing to travel; familiar with safety and compliance standards.
