Job Description

Job Purpose

  • The Branch head will be responsible for leading and managing all sales and operational functions of Refuge Events. This role involves strategic decision-making, financial approvals, cross-functional collaboration, and external representation to drive business growth, efficiency, and organizational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic & Financial Oversight

  • Approve and manage key budgets, business proposals, and contracts.
  • Ensure financial discipline and monitor project profitability.
  • Provide final authorization for major business decisions.
  • Business Representation & Growth

  • Represent Refuge at industry forums, expos, and high-level networking events.
  • Promote the companys brand, services, and capabilities at premium meetings.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners.
  • Team Leadership & Reviews

  • Conduct weekly review meetings with Sales, Operations, Hospitality, and Production teams.
  • Monitor team performance and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Provide mentorship and leadership to enhance team efficiency.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with Marketing and HR functional heads to align business strategies with branding, promotions, and talent management.
  • Work with internal teams to ensure smooth coordination and seamless delivery of projects.
  • Talent & Vendor Management

  • Take the final call on hiring decisions across key roles.
  • Approve vendor empanelment and manage strategic partnerships.
  • Build and maintain a strong vendor and partner ecosystem to support operational excellence.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in Sales, Operations, or Business Leadership roles (preferably in Event Management Industry)
  • Postgraduate degree in Business Management or equivalent (preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability in financial approvals, vendor management, and client engagement
  • Strong track record of representing organizations at industry platforms
