Branch Credit Manager

Job Summary:

The Branch Credit Manager will be responsible for overseeing credit underwriting, appraisal, and approval processes at the branch level. The role involves ensuring high-quality credit assessments, adherence to internal and regulatory credit policies, and minimizing portfolio delinquencies while supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and appraise loan proposals received from the sales team in line with the company’s credit policy.
• Conduct personal discussions, site visits, and due diligence on applicants when required.
• Evaluate borrower profiles, financial statements, repayment capacity, and collateral details.
• Recommend and approve credit proposals within delegated authority limits; escalate higher-value proposals for approval.
• Monitor disbursed loans for early warning signals, repayment trends, and overall portfolio health.
• Ensure adherence to RBI/NBFC credit guidelines and company risk policies.
• Maintain accurate credit documentation and ensure timely completion of all compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with operations and collections teams to manage overdue accounts and reduce NPAs (Non-Performing Assets).
• Train and support branch sales teams on credit processes, eligibility norms, and documentation requirements.
• Prepare branch-level credit MIS and portfolio analysis reports for management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
