Key responsibilities
Operation:
Start and stop boilers, adjusting controls for fuel, air, water, and steam pressure.

Operate auxiliary equipment like pumps, pulverizers, and oil heaters.
Maintenance and repair:
Perform routine inspections of boilers, pumps, valves, and other components.
Conduct preventative maintenance, such as cleaning and lubricating equipment, and replacing worn parts like valves and filters.
Make minor repairs to pipes and fittings.
Safety and compliance:
Ensure all operations comply with safety regulations and standards.
