Senior Scientific Officer - Formulation & Development

***Mandatory*** Job Summary: Greenspace is seeking an experienced Product Formulation Expert to develop and optimize personal care, skincare, herbal extracts, and tablet formulations. The ideal candidate should have expertise in natural ingredients, stability testing, and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities: ✅ Formulation Development:  Design and develop skincare, personal care, herbal, and nutraceutical formulations.  Optimize formulations for efficacy, stability, and market viability.  Conduct trials for new formulations and enhance existing products. ✅ Research & Innovation:  Identify and source natural & herbal ingredients for new product development.  Keep up with industry trends and advancements in Ayurvedic & herbal sciences.  Work with suppliers to evaluate new raw materials. ✅ Quality & Compliance:  Perform stability studies and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.  Work closely with the QA & QC teams to maintain product quality standards.  Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) & Ayurvedic standards. ✅ Scale-Up & Production Support:  Collaborate with manufacturing teams for batch production and scale-up.  Troubleshoot formulation issues during production. Qualifications & Skills: Education: B.Pharm, M.Pharm, M.Sc (Cosmetic Science, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or related fields). Experience: Minimum 3+ years in formulation development (personal care, skincare, herbal, nutraceuticals, or pharmaceuticals). Strong knowledge of herbal extracts, natural actives, and excipients. Hands-on experience in tablet, capsule, emulsion, and cream formulation. Familiarity with stability testing, claim substantiation, and regulatory requirements. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced R&D environment.
