Key Responsibilities:
Plan and design automated and manual Body-in-White (BIW) assembly linesApply product and process knowledge to optimize Body Shop assembly workflowsExecute Body Shop process planning aligned with vehicle programs and manufacturing strategyCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define process requirements and tooling needsUtilize digital tools for simulation and validation of manufacturing processesContribute to fixture design and ensure manufacturability and feasibilitySupport project planning, execution, and documentation of manufacturing processes
Required Skills and Experience:
2-6 years of experience in the engineering services or automotive manufacturing industryExpertise in Body Shop process planning and assembly operationsProficiency in PLM, Teamcenter, NX, Delmia, and Process SimulateUnderstanding of fixture design; hands-on experience is an added advantageBasic programming knowledge in Python or C# is a plusStrong coordination, mentoring, and teamwork abilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Automobile, or Production Engineering
Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have):
Exposure to global manufacturing standards and practicesExperience with international stakeholders in automotive process planning projects
