Job Summary:

Design Manager Cryogenic Division

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the design and development of our

  cryogenic systems

  including cryogenic drying, batch and continuous processing equipment.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement in the design of high-performance cryogenic solutions.
• Collaborate with sales, projects, and production teams to translate customer requirements into technical specifications and robust engineering solutions.
• Ensure all design work complies with industry codes and standards such as ASME, PED, ISO, and applicable cryogenic safety norms.
• Supervise and mentor a team of mechanical design engineers, CAD designers, and drafting personnel.
• Manage the preparation of GA drawings, detailed fabrication drawings, P&IDs, and BOMs using CAD and 3D design tools (Solid Edge).
• Review and approve technical documentation, design calculations, and structural/thermal analysis reports.
• Coordinate with fabrication, QA/QC, and installation teams to ensure smooth transition from design to execution.
• Lead design reviews, failure mode analysis, and design validation processes for new or custom-engineered products.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies, materials, and global trends in cryogenic engineering and integrate them into the design process.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Masters preferred).
• 8-10years of experience in mechanical design and engineering, with at least 3 years in a managerial or lead design role.
• Strong expertise in the design of

  cryogenic equipment and systems

  for industrial applications.
• Proficient in Solid Edge 3D/2D CAD (preferred) as well as mechanical and thermal design calculations (FEA/CFD).
• Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in design for manufacturing (DFM) and working closely with fabrication shops for cryogenic or pressure equipment.
• Familiarity with international codes and standards applicable to cryogenic systems.
• Experience in modular or skid-based system design is a plus.
