GSD (Global Services Delivery)

is a global delivery organization responsible for delivering BMC solutions to our customer worldwide. This group is responsible for managing latest BMC technologies and making sure customers get the maximum value from their investment.

AMS Consultant -

The Application Managed Services Consultant will provide consultative operational services including technical post-implementation/go-live services for enterprise software solutions throughout for BMCs worldwide customers. The Consultant must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment since they will be working on incidents, problems, releases, patching, upgrades, integrations simultaneously.

ITSM

  • Provide L2/L3 operational support on BMC Helix ITSM Remedy, Helix Dashboard, CMDB, DWP, DWPA, SmartIT/MyIT, Asset Management as per agreed SLAs.
  • Maintain BMC Helix Product platform availability as per agreed availability commitment.
  • Develop new customizations, integrations, and reports.
  • Troubleshoot BMC Application, customizations, and integration issues.
  • Follow ITIL standard best practices.
  • Recommend & plan upgrades/patches and roll out new features.
  • Drive adoption of BMC Helix solutions across customer environments.
  • Work closely with Service Owners to review service delivery quality with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Experience in Administration, Operations, Customizations, Integrations, Performance tuning, Patch implementation, Upgrades, and development of BMC Helix ITSM Remedy Application.
  • Experience working in BMC Helix Discovery with operational support as per agreed SLAs including Discovery scan, troubleshooting & administration of large Discovery cluster Env.
  • Maintain BMC Discovery platform availability as per agreed availability commitment.
  • Customize and configure BMC Discovery capabilities in complex cluster environments.
  • Understand how to apply technology to improve operational effectiveness or efficiency of specific functions or applications.

Discovery

  • Experience working in BMC Helix Discovery with operational support as per agreed SLAs including Discovery scan, troubleshooting & administration of large Discovery cluster Env.
  • Maintain BMC Discovery platform availability as per agreed availability commitment.
  • Customize and configure BMC Discovery capabilities in complex cluster environments.
  • Understand how to apply technology to improve operational effectiveness or efficiency of specific functions or applications.

To ensure youre set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:

  • Extensive experience in the Administration and configuration of BMC Helix Remedy ITSM Applications, Integrations, Customizations & CMDB + Discovery Administration
  • Candidate must possess a Engineering /Computer Science Bachelors Degree.
  • Should have min 5-7 Years of relevant experience on BMC Helix ITSM Remedy/CMDB.
  • Should have worked in Applications Managed Services and Consulting Services environment
  • Experience on framework is an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of Cloud Technologies, Containers, different OS, Networking and database concepts
  • Well organized with a positive attitude, ability to work in customer facing env & should be able to communicate with Customers, Vendors, and other internal groups as required.
  • Exercises independent judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
  • Willing to work in shifts, weekend and on-call support will be required.
