Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Equipment Management: Install, test, calibrate, and repair all biomedical equipment (e.g., X-ray, ECG, ventilators).
  • Preventive Maintenance: Implement and follow schedules for routine checks to prevent breakdowns.
  • Technical Support & Training: Train doctors, nurses, and technicians on safe and proper equipment use; troubleshoot issues.
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure all equipment meets safety standards (FDA, local regulations) and conduct safety audits.
  • Procurement & Inventory: Advise on purchasing new equipment, manage service contracts, and maintain stock.
  • Design & Improvement: Collaborate with medical staff to identify needs, develop custom solutions, or improve existing devices.
  • Documentation: Prepare technical reports, research, and documentation for equipment and projects.

Core Duties in a Hospital Setting:

  • Troubleshooting: Rapidly resolve malfunctions to minimize downtime, impacting patient care.
  • Liaison: Act as a bridge between clinical staff and technology, understanding needs and explaining technical aspects.
  • Innovation: Research and integrate new technologies to improve diagnostic accuracy and treatment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹9,903.81 - ₹49,884.55 per month
