Job Title: Biomedical Engineer Location: Raigad Hospital and Research Centre,Bhivpuri Road Railway Station,Diksal, Tal- Karjat, Raigad, Maharashtra Department: Biomedical Engineering Reports To: CEO Job Type: Full-Time Job Summary: The Biomedical Engineer is responsible for the installation, calibration, maintenance, and repair of medical equipment and devices at Raigad Hospital and Research Centre. The role ensures all biomedical systems function safely and effectively to support clinical and research activities. Key Responsibilities: Install, calibrate, inspect, and maintain diagnostic, therapeutic, and life-support medical equipment. Conduct preventive maintenance and timely repairs to reduce equipment downtime. Collaborate with clinicians and department heads to assess and address equipment needs. Maintain detailed logs of servicing, repairs, and calibration for all hospital equipment. Conduct safety tests and evaluations on new and existing equipment. Coordinate with vendors and service providers for external repairs or equipment procurement. Assist in training clinical staff on proper equipment usage and handling. Evaluate new medical technologies and provide technical support in procurement decisions. Support research and development initiatives within the hospital, as applicable. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or related discipline (Diploma candidates with strong experience may also be considered). 1–10 years of experience in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred. Knowledge of hospital-based diagnostic and therapeutic equipment (e.g., ventilators, ECG, defibrillators, infusion pumps, X-ray CT, MRI machines,). Familiarity with healthcare standards and biomedical equipment protocols. Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams. Excellent documentation and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and in emergencies. Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year Benefits: Paid sick time Schedule: Day shift Work Location: In person
