Job Title: Senior Staff Nurse Department : Nursing Location : Raigad Hospital and Research Centre, Bhivpuri Road Railway Station,Tal-Karjat, Dist- Raigad, Maharashtra Reporting To : Nursing Administration Job Type : Full-Time | Shift-based Job Purpose: To provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care and to support clinical operations by supervising junior nursing staff, ensuring adherence to medical protocols, and promoting patient safety and recovery. Key Responsibilities: Deliver and supervise patient care in accordance with hospital standards and clinical protocols. Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and assist during diagnostic tests and procedures. Lead and guide junior staff nurses, nursing interns, and ward boys/ward maids. Maintain and update accurate patient records, nursing notes, and reports. Ensure timely communication with doctors regarding patient condition and implement care plans. Adhere to infection control guidelines, maintain ward cleanliness, and ensure patient safety. Assist during emergency situations (e.g., CPR, trauma care). Participate in ward rounds and briefings with the medical team. Manage and maintain ward equipment and inventory. Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families. Coordinate discharges and follow-up care instructions as required. Qualifications: GNM / B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized Nursing Council of India-approved institute. Registered Nurse with Maharashtra Nursing Council. Experience in ICU, OT, or Emergency Ward is an added advantage.
