Mar Sleeva Medicity Palai is looking for Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey you will play a crucial role in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions through the use of radioactive materials and imaging technology Your responsibilities include preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, operating imaging equipment, and ensuring patient safety and comfort Key Responsibilities: Radiopharmaceutical Preparation: Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients, following strict safety protocols and procedures Imaging Equipment Operation: Operate gamma cameras, PET scanners, and other nuclear medicine imaging equipment to capture images and data Patient Interaction: Explain procedures to patients, obtain medical histories, and ensure patient comfort and safety during examinations Image Acquisition: Position patients for imaging, calibrate equipment, and acquire images according to the physician's instructions Radiation Safety: Implement and follow radiation safety guidelines and protocols to protect patients, staff, and oneself Data Analysis: Analyze and process imaging data, collaborating with physicians to interpret results Quality Control: Perform routine quality control tests and maintenance of imaging equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results Patient Records: Maintain accurate patient records, documenting procedures, dosages, and other relevant information Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to determine the appropriate imaging procedures and assist in patient care Continuing Education: Stay updated with the latest developments in nuclear medicine technology and maintain licensure and certifications Patient Education: Educate patients about the procedures, including any potential side effects or restrictions Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies, such as the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, and maintain licensure and certification requirements
