Biomedical Engineer

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Biomedical Engineer to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing medical devices and technologies that improve patient care and outcomes. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations while contributing to the advancement of biomedical engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop medical devices, ensuring they meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Conduct clinical trials to evaluate the performance and safety of biomedical products.
• Utilize SolidWorks for mechanical design and modeling of components.
• Implement Python for data analysis and simulation tasks related to device functionality.
• Perform statistical analysis to interpret data from experiments and trials.
• Engage in cell culture techniques to support product development.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineering teams to integrate mechanical systems into biomedical devices.
• Ensure adherence to ISO 13485 standards throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Conduct assays to assess the biological response of materials used in device fabrication.

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks for mechanical design applications.
• Experience with Python programming for data manipulation and analysis.
• Strong mathematical skills for statistical analysis and modeling.
• Familiarity with cell culture techniques relevant to biomedical applications.
• Knowledge of ISO 13485 standards and quality management systems in medical device manufacturing.
• Experience in conducting clinical trials or research studies is highly desirable.
• Background in mechanical engineering principles as they apply to biomedical devices is beneficial.
