Job Summary: The Front Office Executive – Billing & Customer Care is the first point of contact for patients and visitors. This role is responsible for managing billing activities, patient registration, and providing high-quality customer service to ensure a smooth and efficient experience for all hospital visitors. Key Responsibilities:1. Patient Reception & Customer Service Greet patients and visitors courteously and professionally. Handle patient inquiries, appointments, and direct them to appropriate departments. Maintain a calm and helpful demeanor in handling patient concerns or complaints. 2. Billing & Cash Handling Generate and process patient bills accurately using hospital software. Handle daily billing, invoicing, and cash collection activities. Ensure proper documentation and reconciliation of all financial transactions. Coordinate with the insurance desk for TPA/Insurance-related billing. 3. Registration & Documentation Register new and returning patients in the hospital system. Verify patient details and maintain updated records. Collect necessary documentation for insurance or medical records. 4. Coordination & Communication Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other departments for smooth patient flow. Communicate estimated costs and treatment packages clearly to patients. Escalate complex issues to supervisors or appropriate authorities. 5. Administrative Support Maintain cleanliness and order at the front desk. Assist with scheduling appointments and follow-up reminders. Handle emails, calls, and interdepartmental communication as needed. Required Qualifications & Skills: Education: Minimum HSC or Graduate in any discipline (Preferred: Degree). Experience: 1–3 years in a hospital or healthcare setup, preferably in front office or billing. Skills: Good verbal and written communication in English and local language. Proficiency in MS Office and hospital management software (e.g., HIS). Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Ability to multitask and work under pressure. Working Hours: Rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays, as per hospital requirements.
