Position Overview:

Zenni Pharmaceutical Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Billing Executive to support its retail pharmacy operations. This role is essential for ensuring accurate billing, compliance with pharmaceutical regulations, and efficient customer service in a fast-paced retail environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of pharmacy billing systems and a commitment to maintaining operational integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately generate and process invoices for prescription and over-the-counter medications using authorized billing software.
• Verify prescriptions to ensure compliance with applicable pharmaceutical regulations, particularly for controlled substances.
• Cross-check medication details, including batch number, expiry date, and quantity prior to billing.
• Manage transactions using multiple payment methods (cash, credit/debit cards, UPI, digital wallets) with accountability and accuracy.
• Apply GST correctly and ensure adherence to all tax compliance requirements.
• Maintain organized records of daily transactions, invoices, and payment summaries.
• Reconcile billing and payment data at the end of each day; report and resolve any discrepancies.
• Coordinate with inventory and pharmacy teams to confirm stock availability and resolve billing-related issues.
• Provide a courteous and professional customer experience at the billing counter.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Science, Pharmacy, or a related discipline.
• 1–2 years of experience in billing within a pharmacy or healthcare environment is preferred.
• Fresh graduates with strong academic backgrounds and a willingness to learn may also apply.
• Proficiency in billing systems, POS software, and basic financial/accounting processes.
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical products, drug classifications, and prescription standards.
• Understanding of GST and regulatory compliance in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong attention to detail, numerical aptitude, and interpersonal skills.

Work Schedule & Compensation:

• Working Hours: 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM (including rotational weekly offs or as assigned)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
