Job Description

Job Title: Billing Executive

Location: DHEE Hospitals

Experience Required: Minimum 2 Years

Job Description – Billing Executive

Roles & Responsibilities:

Generate and process patient bills accurately and on time.
Verify patient records, doctor notes, treatments, and services before billing.
Handle cash collection, card payments, UPI payments, and maintain daily cash reports.
Coordinate with departments (lab, pharmacy, nursing, radiology) to ensure correct billing details.
Explain billing details and charges to patients and clear their queries.
Ensure all insurance-related billing documentation is complete and updated.
Maintain billing software entries and ensure no discrepancies.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly revenue reports.
Handle refunds, cancellations, adjustments as per hospital policies.
Maintain confidentiality of patient and financial data.
Support the front office team during peak hours if required.

Skills Required:

Strong knowledge of hospital billing procedures and software.
Good communication and customer-handling skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in billing.
Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, billing applications).
Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

Any Degree (B.Com preferred).
Minimum 2 years of experience in hospital billing or healthcare accounts
