Key Responsibilities: Identify internal and external issues affecting product quality. Understand customer needs and expectations and implement the same. Maintain updated documentation of scope, processes, and interested parties. Assist in setting organization quality objectives and monitoring Preparation of FMEA, control plan. Maintain infrastructure and environment for quality blending, filling, and testing. Control documentation (work instructions, records) Calibrate and maintain process equipments. Ensure effective control of blending, filling, labelling, and dispatch operations. Maintain nonconformity record and its effective control Conduct internal quality audits as per schedule. Support management review meetings with quality data and analysis. Collect customer feedback and evaluate satisfaction levels. Handle customer complaints by performing root cause analysis (RCA). Implement corrective and preventive actions. Continuous improvement initiatives in receipt, blending, filling, and dispatch processes, control of filling line on daily basis. Job Title: Senior Maintenance Engineer Department: Maintenance Location: Kamothe-Navi Mumbai Job Summary: To ensure uninterrupted and efficient operation of plant machinery, equipment, and utilities in the lube oil manufacturing facility by implementing effective maintenance strategies, minimizing downtime, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for blending units, filling lines, pumps, compressors, boilers, gearboxes, conveyors, and other plant equipment. Monitor equipment performance and identify potential issues before breakdowns occur. Respond promptly to equipment failures, diagnose root causes, and ensure quick corrective actions. Coordinate with operations to minimize production downtime during maintenance. Ensure optimum performance of critical assets like pumps, agitators, mixers, packaging lines, and utility systems (HVAC, cooling towers, DG sets). Recommend and implement modifications, upgrades, and energy-efficient solutions. Maintain adequate stock of critical spares and consumables. Coordinate with purchase and stores to ensure cost-effective procurement without compromising quality. Ensure all maintenance activities comply with GMP, ISO, and statutory safety regulations. Maintain documentation as per industry standards for audits (ISO, OHSAS, environmental). Conduct risk assessments and promote a safe working environment. Supervise and guide technicians, fitters, and contract maintenance teams. Train staff on equipment handling, troubleshooting, and safety practices. Coordinate with production, QA, and utility teams for smooth operations. Implement root cause analysis (RCA), 5S, TPM, and Kaizen initiatives to improve reliability and reduce maintenance costs. Drive projects related to cost reduction, energy conservation, and equipment efficiency. Education: B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial Engineering. Experience: 7+ years (depending on level) in maintenance within lube oil / petrochemical / FMCG / process manufacturing industries. Technical Skills: Knowledge of pumps, motors, compressors, gearboxes, and filling/packaging machinery. Familiarity with PLC/SCADA systems (preferred). Hands-on with predictive maintenance tools (vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis).
