Job Title: Field Sales Engineer - GGC (Gate, Globe & Check Valves) Location: Pune Position : 1 Industry: Valves & Valve Automation (Fertilizer, Steel, Process Industry, Pharma, Chemical, Oil & Gas Sectors) We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Field Sales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sales growth, customer relationship management, and business development in the GGC (Gate, Globe, Check Valves) segment. Job Responsibilities: Inquiry Generation: Identify and generate inquiries from existing and new customers. Order Booking: Ensure timely booking of orders by converting inquiries into sales. Customer Visit: Conduct regular visits to existing and potential customers for relationship building and business growth. Order Conversion: Follow up on inquiries, negotiate terms, and close deals effectively. Inventory Reduction: Coordinate with the internal team to manage stock and reduce inventory costs. Collection of Outstanding Payments: Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments from customers. Quote Follow-up: Follow up on submitted quotations every week to maximize order conversion. Approval Coordination: Assist in obtaining approvals from customers and consultants. New Customer Development: Identify and onboard new customers to expand business reach. Distributor Development: Develop and manage distributors within the assigned domain. Coordination with Internal Team: Work closely with internal teams to ensure timely submission of quotes and seamless execution of orders. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Instrumentation / Electrical Engineering or related field. 4-6 years of experience in B2B industrial sales, preferably in valves. Strong understanding of the process industry, valves, pharma, chemical, and steel sectors. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools. Willingness to travel extensively. Compensation: As per industry standards & experience.

Presales Engineer/ Application Engineer pune 2 - 4 years INR 3.0 - 4.0 Lacs P.A. Work from Office Full Time

Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented Presales Engineer/Application Engineer to join our team in Pune. The ideal candidate will work closely with our sales, design, and production teams to prepare accurate technical proposals and ensure smooth order processing. Key Responsibilities: Prepare error-free proposals/quotes including product selection, automation sizing, and pricing for daily small tender requirements Ensure on-time submission of quality offers in coordination with design, quality, costing, purchase, and sales teams Register and review purchase orders received from customers and field sales On time Tender Submitting & also Preparing documents for tender. Communicate any clarifications or discrepancies in purchase orders with internal teams, field sales, and customers Prepare and forward approved Order Forwarding Memo (OFM) along with purchase orders and supporting documents to post-order sales team Maintain proper documentation of order-related enquiry documents, final quotations, and communications in designated folders Regularly update CRM (Customer Relationship Management) data Ensure customer purchase orders are technically accurate as per quoted specifications and commercially verified before sending for order entry Maintain enquiry-related documents, quotations, revisions, and communications in designated folders Register enquiries in Enquiry Tracker Register for GGCB Division Perform related duties as required and instructed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): On-time quotation submission: Timely processing of OFM Accuracy of quotations and OFM Proper maintenance of quotation and OFM folders Requirements: 2-4 years of experience in presales, application engineering, or technical sales, preferably in valve manufacturing. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Chemical/Instrumentation Engineering Graduate candidates must have 4 to 5 years of experience in Presales, application engineering, or technical sales, preferably in valve Industry. Strong technical knowledge of industrial valves Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in MS Office (particularly Excel) and CRM systems Good communication skills, both written and verbal Knowledge of industrial standards and specifications is a plus
