As a Technical Writer at our company, you will be responsible for technical communication, documentation, writing manuals, and developing technical documentation. Your role will involve creating and organizing technical content to support bids and proposals, playing a key role in securing contracts through well-structured and compelling bid submissions. **Key Responsibilities:** - Research, write, and edit bid responses, tenders, and proposals for IT projects. - Work closely with technical teams, sales, and project managers to gather necessary input. - Develop winning content tailored to public sector procurement frameworks (G-Cloud, DOS, CCS, NHS, MOD, Local Authorities, etc.). - Ensure all bids comply with tender requirements and evaluation criteria. - Manage multiple deadlines and coordinate bid submissions within strict timelines. - Continuously improve bid content and maintain a bid library of past responses. - Review and analyse tender documents (RFPs, RFQs, ITTs) to identify key requirements. - Demonstrate excellent writing, grammar, and document formatting skills. - Utilize strong project management skills to handle multiple bids simultaneously. - Ability to translate complex technical solutions into clear, persuasive content. - Experience in bidding for cybersecurity, cloud computing, SaaS, IT infrastructure, or managed services projects. - Familiarity with ITIL, PRINCE2, Agile methodologies. - APMP (Association for Proposal Management Professionals) certification is a plus. **Qualifications:** - Technical Writing and Technical Communication skills. - Experience in Technical Documentation. - Proficiency in writing manuals. - Strong organizational and documentation skills. - Excellent attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and remotely. - Experience in proposal or bid writing is a plus. - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
