Position Summary: Alacriti is looking for an experienced Proposal Writer to plan, write, and deliver proposals to our potential clients. You will be responsible for developing and updating proposal content to tailor it to the client while keeping our companys best interests in mind. Role and Responsibilities: 1. Lead and manage end-to-end bidding pursuit process. Be the overall-in-charge of RFP preparation and to ensure high quality proposals are submitted on time. 2. Work closely with sales to understand customers requirements and business environment in order to formulate bid win strategies and value proposition for proposals. 3. Production and delivery of compliant, professionally produced proposals within customer defined timeframes. 4. Coordinate for proposal input from a variety of stakeholders, typically involving contributions from Sales, Engineering, Finance, Procurement & Logistics, Legal and project delivery. 5. Consolidate sections and/or documents developed by other team members into the required tender format. 6. Manage and negotiate with partners and vendors on commitments and commercial terms 7. Co-ordinate with Group P&L team to ensure the costing of the project is shared on time 8. Support segment sales and bid managers when required on strategic and high priority bids including setting up compliance matrix and project plan and supporting the Bid Manager with client interface and communication via e-portal. 9. Co-ordinate bid production activities for non-strategic bid opportunities and prequalification questionnaires including reading and understanding client bid documentation, deadlines and submission requirements and consolidate content from contributors into the required format and flag gaps to sales lead. 10. Maintain the bid framework standard model/toolkit, making sure that the latest documents are always available in the agreed location on SharePoint or Teams. 11. Perform bid presentation with customers 12. Ensure proposal documents follow corporate branding guidelines, standard formatting, and quality standards 13. Maintain, make available and backup master document sets. 14. Champion collaboration tools, document management and version control best practices. 15. Maintaining a proper track of offers submitted and follow-up with sales team regarding status of submission. 16. Play an active role in managing our knowledge depository 17. Releasing the Design inputs as per the GP format to all stake holders which was considered during bidding stage upon receipt of Purchase orders 18. Understanding about competitor products & latest products in market and giving inputs to sales & engineering team 19. Identifying new suppliers for cost reduction & improve the Gross Margin 20. Awareness of latest developments within Business Development and Bid Management fields 21. Be flexible and agile to work on responsibilities assigned from time to time even if it is not related to BD/ Bid role. Qualification & Requirements 1. Minimum 5 years experience in similar role 2. Solid, proven experience working in an electronics company preferably in Telecom with knowledge in DC Power Systems, Battery, Generator, UPS, inverter, solar solution etc. in either a BD or a Bid role 3. Knowledge about the sizing of rectifiers, battery, solar solution & generator 4. Excellent verbal and written communications & Interpersonal skills. 5. Experience in working with senior management to manage delivery of timelines and outputs 6. A minimum of one-year relevant professional experience in supporting business development. 7. Proven capacity to effectively work within parameters of bid management processes 8. Demonstrated achievement in the coordination and production of bid submissions at RFI, RFP and presentation stages 9. Strong organisational skills and ability to manage small to medium sized tenders, precise scheduling and multiple and shifting priorities. 10. A good working knowledge of In Power Electronics Design would be an added advantage. 11. Flexible and Agile approach Education Requirements BE/B-tech in Electronics, MBA is an added advantage.
