Position: Bid proposal manager

Location: Remote

Job Type: Part-Time

 

We are actively involved in bidding for IT projects and are seeking a skilled professional to manage the entire RFI and RFP process from start to finish. The ideal candidate will ensure timely, compliant, and high-quality proposal submissions that align with project requirements and deadlines.

 

1. Lead End-to-End Bid Management

Manage the full lifecycle of the bid process—from opportunity identification through submission, including timelines, deliverables, and team coordination.

 

2. Analyze RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs

Review and interpret Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Information (RFIs), and Quotations (RFQs) to understand client requirements, compliance needs, and evaluation criteria.

 

3. Develop Proposal Strategy and Win Themes

Collaborate with sales, technical, and leadership teams to create compelling win strategies, differentiators, and key messaging tailored to each client.

 

4. Coordinate Cross-Functional Teams

Facilitate collaboration among stakeholders including solution architects, project managers, legal, finance, marketing, and subject matter experts (SMEs).

 

5. Write and Edit Proposal Content

Draft, edit, and polish content for technical, management, and commercial sections, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with client needs and brand voice.

 

6. Ensure Compliance and Quality Assurance

Verify that proposals meet all client instructions, compliance standards, and internal quality control checks.

 

7. Manage Proposal Documentation and Tools

Utilize proposal management tools (like RFPIO, Loopio, SharePoint, or Word templates) to organize and maintain content libraries, templates, and proposal archives.

 

8. Conduct Risk and Pricing Reviews

Coordinate with finance and legal teams to assess risks, pricing models, and terms before final submission.

 

9. Facilitate Reviews and Approvals

Lead color reviews (Pink, Red, Gold, etc.), incorporate feedback, and secure executive approvals for final submissions.

 

10. Post-Submission Support and Lessons Learned

Manage clarifications, presentations, and contract negotiations post-submission, and document lessons learned for continuous improvement.
