Job Description

Position Overview:

The Solution consultant is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the entire bid process & building solutions for business process outsourcing (BPO) opportunities. This role requires close collaboration with various departments to develop proposals that not only meet client requirements but also align with the company's strategic objectives. He/She plays a critical role in securing new business and maintaining the company's competitive position in the market. This role is crucial for driving business growth by securing new BPO contracts and maintaining the company's competitive edge in the market. The Consultant is a strategic thinker and a skilled communicator who can effectively navigate complex bid processes and deliver winning proposals.

Key Responsibilities: Bid Management:

  • To understand Customer's CX outsourcing requirement and articulate the right fit solution in terms of People, Process & Technology.
  • Lead the end-to-end bid process, ensuring submissions are timely, high-quality, and meet client expectations.
  • Develop comprehensive bid plans, including timelines and deliverables, to ensure organized and efficient bid preparation
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, finance, and legal, to gather essential information for bid proposals
  • Utilize bid management software and tools to track progress and manage documentation effectively.

Proposal Development:

  • Write, edit, and proofread proposal content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment with client requirements.
  • Customize proposals to address specific client needs and expectations, ensuring a personalized approach.
  • Ensure all proposals comply with client specifications and adhere to company standards and branding guidelines.
  • Collaborate with graphic designers to create visually appealing proposal documents

Client Engagement:

  • Engage with clients to gain a deep understanding of their needs and tailor proposals to address those needs effectively.
  • Conduct presentations and negotiations with clients, showcasing the company's capabilities and value proposition.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a point of contact throughout the bid process.

Market Research:

  • Conduct thorough research to understand market trends, competitor offerings, and client needs.
  • Use insights from market research to develop competitive and compelling proposals that differentiate the company from competitors.
  • Stay informed about industry developments and emerging technologies that could impact the BPO landscape

Risk Management:

  • Identify and assess risks associated with bids, including financial, operational, and compliance risks.
  • Develop and implement mitigation strategies to address identified risks and ensure bids are financially viable.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to conduct cost analysis and pricing strategies for bids

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in bid management, preferably within the BPO industry.
  • Proven track record of managing successful bids and proposals, with a strong understanding of the BPO market.

Skills:

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on strategic thinking.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with bid management software and CRM tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

  • Good to have knowledge of Generative AI (GenAI) solutions and their applications in the BPO industry.
  • Ability to incorporate AI-driven insights and solutions into bid proposals to enhance value propositions.
  • Needs to be up to date on recent technologies and industry trends, particularly in digital transformation and automation.
  • Ability to leverage the latest technological advancements to create innovative and competitive proposals
