Job Description

  • This is new vertical in Bharat Banking-Bharat Enterprise This vertical specially caters to credit needs of Nano business enterprises wherein the credit requirement both secured and un-secured in between 1-20 Lakh About the Role
  • The Area Manager-Credit Analyst is responsible for managing a team of Credit Analyst responsible for credit and income assessment as per prescribed parameters for the leads generated by Sales Team for Nano Business loan
  • The Role is expected to deliver on portfolio quality and TAT as per defined parameters of the bank
  • The role will be taking care of 2-4 districts of state based on the portfolio size
  • Ensure the verification process is compiled within expected TAT with first time right approach
  • Ensure Credit Analyst are trained on the policy and processes
  • Ensure correctness of credit note prepared by Credit Analyst as per banks policy
  • Imparting training to Sales Officer/Manager for quality sourcing
  • Fraud risk management
  • Managing compliance on documentation
  • Manage early delinquencies to ensure portfolio performance
  • Keeping regular track of competition and reporting new products/market development/Legal risks/ Political Risks/Local demographic issues
  • Periodic visits of customers and cross checking of sourcing quality/ loan utilization
  • Adhering to the banks policies and ensuring compliance of the same

Qualifications

  • Education: Graduation/Post Graduation
  • Maximum Age: 35 Years

Experience:

  • 3-7 Years of experience in verification/PD bases assessment of customer in Bank or NBFC for- Nano/Micro Business Loans/ Small ticket LAP/ Self-employed PL/ AHL
  • o Good understanding of Micro/Small unsecured Business loan, Affordable housing or Small ticket LAP

Role Proficiencies

Knowledge

  • Good knowledge of field level operations and systems
  • Experience in assessed business income is must

Should have knowledge on

  • o Local market understanding
  • o Understanding on Bank statement
  • o Repayment record assessment
  • o Working knowledge of property valuation in local market
  • o Working knowledge of Legal related documentation

Skills

  • Good leadership skills
  • Good communication (both verbal & written) and inter-personal skills
  • Time management

Abilities

  • Ability to work effectively across functions
  • Ability to work as a part of team and contribute towards team goals
