Job Description

Role & responsibilities

For Manager role

Lead and supervise the day-to-day regulatory compliance (applying for licenses with the RBI, regular compliance filings with the RBI) and advisory assignments.

Accountable for the entire assignment such as timely delivery, quality of the deliverable, etc.

Expected to build positive client relationships and demonstrate understanding of the clients requirements and business.

  • Qualities of leadership, as the person will be responsible for allocation of work within the team, performance of the team, identification of training and development needs within the team.

Supervise effectively junior team members and take responsibility for reviewing their work

  • Assist senior members of the team on prospective client pursuits.
  • Proactively identify new areas where the Firm can leverage with the existing client.
  • Review of regulatory applications e.g. NBFCs, Banking Applications, etc.
  • Be up to date on developments in regulatory space NBFC, Bank Regulations, etc.
  • Take a major role in sharing knowledge and supporting the development of team members.

For Assistant Manager role

Execute and supervise the day-to-day regulatory compliance (applying for licenses with the RBI, regular compliance filings with the RBI) and advisory assignments.

  • Accountable for the timely delivery of high-quality engagements.
  • Build positive client relationships and demonstrate understanding of the clients requirements and business.
  • Be up-to-date on developments in regulatory space Banking, NBFC, etc.
  • Assist senior members of team on prospective client pursuits.

Supervise effectively junior team members and take responsibility for reviewing their work.

  • Play a significant role in knowledge sharing.

Preferred candidate profile

Good Communication / presentation skills

Possess good analytical skills and the ability to learn and succeed in a fast-paced environment Strong knowledge in and working knowledge in Banking/NBFC Regulations, etc.

Delivery of multiple engagements with quality standards and as per the agreed timelines

Good people and client management skills

Excellent communication skills with an ability to interact with all levels across the organization.
