Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Backend System Development : Design, build, and maintain scalable and high-performance backend components for large enterprise-level systems using Node.js, with a strong focus on Nest.js.
  • API Development : Develop and maintain robust RESTful web services and APIs, ensuring seamless integration with front-end applications and third-party systems.
  • Database Integration : Integrate and manage multiple data sources and databases, including MySQL and MongoDB, ensuring efficient data storage, retrieval, and management.
  • Cloud Compatibility : Develop cloud-compatible applications, ensuring solutions are designed for deployment and performance in modern cloud environments.
  • Third-Party Integration & Authentication : Implement and manage third-party API integrations and various authentication mechanisms (e.g., OAuth 2.0).
  • Reporting & Data Presentation : Develop backend logic to generate various reports and data for charting, supporting analytical and dashboard requirements.
  • Code Quality & Best Practices : Adhere to best practices for code quality, security, and performance. Actively participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural discussions.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver integrated, high-quality solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3-5 years of professional experience in backend software development.
  • Strong hands-on experience in Node.js, with specific working experience in Nest.js for building backend components of large enterprise-level systems.
  • Expertise in REST API development, third-party API integration, and authentication protocols like OAuth 2.0.
  • Proficiency with relational databases (e.g., MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
  • Good understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, and jQuery, enabling effective collaboration with front-end teams.
  • Proficient in version control systems, particularly Git, and familiar with release management processes.
  • Solid understanding of core web protocols : HTTP/HTTPs, and architectural patterns like MVC Architecture.
  • Experience in developing cloud-compatible applications.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
