Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced
Business Development Manager – Pre Sales / Lead Qualification
to lead and manage a team of counselors who guide students in making informed career decisions.You will play a key role in
driving Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs)
, ensuring your team effectively communicates NxtWave’s value proposition and contributes directly to business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Business Development Associates (BDAs) to achieve monthly SQL targets.
- Manage the complete pre-sales and lead qualification lifecycle, including outbound calls, follow-ups, and lead nurturing.
- Provide continuous coaching, monitoring, and performance feedback to improve team efficiency and conversion rates.
- Counsel learning prospects, provide career guidance, and explain how CCBP 4.0 Programs can accelerate their career growth.
- Maintain and manage a detailed CRM database of all lead interactions.
- Share regular feedback on lead quality, customer behavior, and market trends with the marketing and product teams.
- Handle escalations efficiently to enhance the overall customer experience.
- Set weekly targets, allocate responsibilities, and ensure timely goal achievement through structured review mechanisms.
Requirements
- Minimum 1+ years of experience in managing a Sales / Pre-Sales team, preferably in the EdTech industry.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and excellent presentation abilities.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales-qualified lead targets.
- High ownership, self-motivation, and a performance-driven mindset.
- Strong empathy, patience, and customer orientation.
- Systematic approach to building sales funnels, tracking performance, and improving outcomes.
- Passion for education and helping learners build better careers.
Languages Required
- Native speaker of Hindi / Marathi / Kannada (preferred)
- Excellent proficiency in English (mandatory)
