Job Description

Position Overview:

Business Development Associate (BDA)


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities through outbound efforts including cold calls, emails, and networking.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
  • Understand client requirements and effectively present Makunai Global’s services and solutions.
  • Work with internal teams to develop tailored proposals and presentations for clients.
  • Manage and update CRM tools with lead, opportunity, and contact information.
  • Follow up on marketing-generated leads and convert them into qualified opportunities.
  • Participate in business meetings and presentations to pitch company offerings.
  • Maintain a high level of industry knowledge to identify trends and potential areas for business growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on sales strategies and targets.
  • Meet or exceed weekly/monthly/quarterly sales goals.
  • Conduct market research to identify new business verticals and expansion opportunities.
  • Provide feedback to the marketing and product teams on customer needs and market trends.
  • Prepare regular reports and dashboards to track business development performance.


Preferred Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written).
  • Self-motivated and target-driven with a strong work ethic.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools like Zoho, HubSpot, or Salesforce.
  • Good understanding of B2B/B2C sales cycles and client acquisition strategies.
  • Ability to conduct effective product demonstrations and client meetings.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
  • Prior experience in the IT services or SaaS industry is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • A quick learner with a proactive approach to building client relationships.


Education and Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Certifications in sales, digital marketing, or CRM tools are a plus.
