SDE-1 : UI Developer (NextJS, TypeScript)

Position Overview:

Makunai Global is seeking a passionate and results-driven SDE-1 (Next.js + TypeScript Developer) with at least 1 year of professional experience to join our dynamic team in Noida. As a Frontend Developer, you will play a key role in building and maintaining high-performance, user-centric web applications using modern technologies like Next.js and TypeScript. You will collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless digital experiences.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Possess a deep understanding of Node.js and TypeScript to build and manage server-side components.
• Develop, test, and deploy high-performance web applications.
• Implement industry-standard practices for cybersecurity and data protection.
• Write clean, reusable, and high-quality code, following best practices in software development.
• Implement and manage storage solutions such as S3 buckets.
• Integrate server-side logic with user-facing components designed by the frontend developers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement product requirements.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality, consistency, and high standards.
• Assist in optimizing application performance for scalability and speed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Generate reports on project progress and maintain comprehensive documentation throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Suggest and implement improvements to development processes and workflows.
• Quickly identify, debug, and resolve various types of errors in the application.
• Contribute to the overall architecture and design of new features and enhancements.
• Demonstrate a proactive approach to continuous learning and improvement of technical skills.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to ensure project delivery on time and within scope.
• Engage in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Write and maintain unit tests to ensure code reliability, coverage, and performance.
• Ensure that databases and external queries are optimized for performance.

Technical Skills (UI):

• Next.js: Strong knowledge (minimum 1.5 years of experience)
• TypeScript: Strong knowledge (minimum 1 year of experience)
• Tailwind CSS: Strong knowledge (minimum 1.5 years of experience)
• Docker: Good understanding
• API Integration: Strong knowledge of calling REST API integration with UI components
• Figma: Proficient in interpreting design layouts and requirements
• CI/CD Pipelines: Familiarity with tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions
• Git: Good knowledge
• SonarQube: Familiar with using SonarQube for code quality and coverage
• Quick Learner: Someone who can learn new things quickly.

Education and Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
