Job Description

KodNest is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented BD Research Analyst to join our dynamic team. The primary role of this position is to conduct thorough research to identify actively hiring companies and obtain specific contact details of key personnel who can facilitate the hiring of our students. This role is crucial in supporting our Business Development team, allowing them to focus more on outreach and engagement.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Market Research:

    Conduct daily market research to identify companies actively hiring in the IT sector, focusing on roles relevant to our students' skill sets.
  • Data Collection:

    Gather detailed information about potential hiring companies, including company size, industry sector, current hiring needs, and key decision-makers.
  • Contact Acquisition:

    Obtain specific contact details of HR managers, recruitment leads, or other relevant personnel within these companies.
  • Database Management:

    Maintain and update a comprehensive database of researched companies and contacts for easy access and use by the Business Development team.
  • Trend Analysis:

    Analyze hiring trends and patterns to predict future recruitment needs and opportunities.
  • Collaboration:

    Work closely with the Business Development team to provide actionable insights and help refine outreach strategies.
  • Reporting:

    Regularly report findings and insights to the team leader or manager, highlighting potential opportunities and areas for strategic engagement.
  • Networking:

    Utilize various platforms such as LinkedIn, job boards, and industry forums to expand our network and gather relevant information.
  • Feedback and Optimization:

    Continuously seek feedback from the Business Development team to optimize research methods and align with evolving business needs.

Requirements:

  • Educational Background:

    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Research Skills:

    Strong ability in online research, data analysis, and information synthesis.
  • Communication Skills:

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Technical Proficiency:

    Proficiency in database management and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Attention to Detail:

    Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Proactive Approach:

    Ability to work independently and proactively to meet team goals.
