Bartender

Role Summary

The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to restaurant guests in a friendly, efficient, and professional manner. The role requires strong knowledge of classic and modern cocktails, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to maintain a clean and well-stocked bar area while upholding all safety and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and take drink orders in a timely manner.
• Prepare and serve beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) according to standard recipes.
• Suggest cocktails, mocktails, and food pairings to enhance the guest experience.
• Check identification to ensure guests meet legal drinking age requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the bar and surrounding areas.
• Keep the bar stocked with garnishes, glassware, alcohol, mixers, and supplies.
• Handle cash, credit card, and billing transactions accurately.
• Monitor guest behavior and consumption to ensure responsible service of alcohol.
• Comply with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
• Work closely with servers and kitchen staff to deliver smooth service.
• Upsell premium drinks, cocktails, and promotions to maximize revenue.
• Follow opening and closing procedures of the bar.

Requirements & Skills

• Proven experience as a Bartender in a restaurant, lounge, or bar.
• Knowledge of mixology, cocktails, wines, beers, and spirits.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
• Positive attitude, team player, and professional appearance.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
