Bar Manager

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Bar Manager to oversee the daily operations of our bar. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a proven track record in managing high-volume bars or similar establishments. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of customer service, managing staff, inventory control, and ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for Guests.

Key Responsibilities: Operations:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the bar, including opening and closing procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, as well as local liquor laws.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area at all times.
• Monitor bar ambiance, music, lighting, and guest satisfaction.
• Manage POS systems and cash handling procedures.

Staff Management:

• Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise bar staff, including bartenders and barbacks.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching or disciplinary action when necessary.
• Promote teamwork and maintain a positive working environment.

Customer Service:

• Ensure an exceptional guest experience through high-quality service and attention to detail.
• Address customer concerns and resolve complaints promptly and professionally.

Inventory & Ordering:

• Manage inventory levels of beverages, garnishes, and bar supplies.
• Coordinate with vendors for timely ordering and deliveries.
• Conduct regular stocktakes and minimize waste and shrinkage.

Menu Development:

• Collaborate on cocktail and drink menu creation, pricing, and seasonal updates.
• Train staff on new offerings and ensure consistency in drink preparation and presentation.

Financial Oversight:

• Monitor bar profitability and work within budgetary guidelines.
• Track sales and implement strategies to increase revenue (e.g., promotions, events, happy hours).

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Bar Manager or in a similar leadership role.
• In-depth knowledge of bar operations, mixology, and beverage trends.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations.
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic financial reporting.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience managing events or private bookings.
• Knowledge of local suppliers and beverage trends.
• Social media or marketing experience for promoting bar events or specials.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
