Job Summary:

Banking Officer

Key Responsibilities:

Handle day-to-day branch operations including cash transactions, account opening, KYC verification, and customer queries.
Promote and sell banking products like savings accounts, loans, credit cards, and fixed deposits.
Process loan applications, verify documentation, and coordinate with credit departments.
Ensure compliance with RBI guidelines, AML, KYC norms, and internal policies.
Manage cash flow, reconcile cash and non-cash transactions, and prepare reports.
Resolve customer complaints promptly and escalate complex issues to senior management.
Maintain branch records and documentation accurately.
Support audit processes and participate in internal control checks.
Assist in organizing customer outreach programs and financial literacy drives.

Required Skills :

Basic knowledge of banking operations, products, and compliance.
Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Proficient in MS Office and basic banking software.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
