Job Title: Senior Bakery ChefDepartment: Food & Beverage / Culinary Location: Sector - 44, Gurugram, Haryana Reports To: Head Office Experience Required: 10–15 years in bakery operations, preferably in luxury hospitality or high-end F&B environments We are seeking an experienced and innovative Bakery Chef with a strong hospitality background to lead our bakery operations. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Healthy artisanal breads, cakes, and modern pastry techniques, combined with a solid understanding of kitchen operations within 4- or 5-star Restaurant environments or luxury outlet. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the bakery section, ensuring consistency, quality, and creativity in all baked goods Develop seasonal and event-based bakery menus in collaboration with the Executive Chef Oversee the production of breads, pastries, cakes, cookies, and other bakery items for various outlets (e.g., buffet, à la carte, banquets, in-room dining) Train, mentor, and supervise junior bakery staff, enforcing culinary standards and hygiene protocols Ensure cost control and minimize waste while maintaining the highest standards of product quality Monitor kitchen hygiene and safety procedures in compliance with HACCP and local food safety regulations Collaborate with procurement on sourcing high-quality ingredients and maintaining inventory control Stay updated on global bakery trends and introduce new techniques or recipes Maintain proper documentation for daily production, stock levels, and quality checks Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts / Bakery & Pastry from a recognized institution 10–15 years of experience in professional bakery operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role Prior experience in luxury fine-dining establishments is essential Expertise in artisanal and international bakery techniques (sourdoughs, laminated doughs, gluten-free options, etc.) Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Knowledge of cost control, inventory management, and kitchen administration Proficient in maintaining hygiene and food safety standards Certification in HACCP / Food Safety Exposure to a modern bakery techniques Experience working with high-end bakery equipment and technology Strong organizational and presentation skills What We Offer: Competitive salary and performance-based incentives Professional growth opportunities within a well-established hospitality group A dynamic, creative, and inclusive work environment Meals on duty, uniform with standard benefits To Apply: Please send your resume and references to Shikha@caterspoint.com
