Bakery Central Store Manager

As an Inventory Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining optimal stock levels, monitoring inventory turnover, and ensuring minimal stockouts or excess inventory. Procurement tasks include sourcing, selecting, and negotiating with suppliers, managing purchase orders, and guaranteeing timely delivery of goods. Your role will also involve Vendor Management, where you will build strong relationships with suppliers, evaluate their performance, and address any quality, delivery, or pricing issues. Cost Optimization is a key aspect of this position, requiring you to develop strategies to reduce procurement costs, enhance efficiency, and maximize value for the company. Compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations in all procurement activities is essential. Additionally, you will lead and support the purchasing team, provide training, and foster a collaborative work environment. You will be responsible for tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) related to procurement, analyzing data, and preparing reports for management. Collaboration with other departments such as sales, production, and finance is crucial to align procurement activities with overall business objectives. Risk Management is another critical function, where you will identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.
