Job Description

Location: Pune, Maharashtra Employment Type: Full-time About Us - We are launching an exciting new Quick Service Restaurant brand specializing in freshly made Bombolone (Italian filled doughnuts) and Churros, bringing global dessert trends to the local market. We are looking for a skilled and creative Bakery Chef who will play a key role in developing recipes, creating standardized processes (SOPs), training staff, and ensuring consistent quality across all outlets. Key Responsibilities: Recipe Development & Standardization Finalize core recipes for bombolone, churros, fillings, and sauces Ensure recipes are scalable for high-volume QSR operations without compromising quality Adapt recipes for local taste preferences while maintaining authenticity SOP Creation & Implementation Develop detailed Standard Operating Procedures for: Dough preparation, proofing, frying, and finishing Filling and plating Equipment handling and maintenance Food safety and hygiene Document all processes for easy training and replication across locations Kitchen Setup & Equipment Planning Recommend and help procure bakery equipment suited for QSR speed and quality Design an efficient kitchen workflow to optimize production time and reduce waste Training & Quality Control Train production and service staff in preparation techniques and hygiene standards Conduct regular quality checks to ensure consistency in taste, texture, and presentation Cost & Inventory Management Suggest ingredient suppliers and negotiate for quality & cost efficiency Assist in portion control and waste management to optimize profitability Innovation & Menu Expansion Introduce seasonal flavors, new product lines, and creative plating ideas Keep track of global dessert trends for potential integration Qualifications & Skills: Proven experience as a Bakery Chef, Pastry Chef, or Dessert Chef (QSR/bakery/dessert café experience preferred) Strong knowledge of dough science, frying techniques, and dessert fillings Experience in creating SOPs and training kitchen staff Familiarity with FSSAI guidelines and HACCP standards Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment Creative flair with a passion for innovation in bakery products What We Offer Competitive salary with performance-based incentives Opportunity to be part of a brand from the ground up Creative freedom to develop products and set operational standards Long-term growth opportunities as we expand locations To Apply: Share your CV at ceo@experifolabs.com along with a cover letter stating the reason for wanting to work in a startup
