What You'll Do

• Work on a high-impact product that is still in an early, fast-evolving stage.
• Drive innovation in backend engineering while continuously improving performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Own the design, development, and validation of backend and framework components using strong software engineering practices.
• Translate functional and technical requirements into robust system architecture and detailed designs.
• Build scalable services and systems that can support rapid growth and high throughput.
• Actively participate in code reviews and architectural discussions to maintain high engineering standards.
• Mentor junior engineers, contribute to defining technical best practices, and help shape a strong engineering culture.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in an agile development environment.
  

Who Should Apply

• 3-6 years of experience in backend or product engineering, with exposure to large-scale system design.
• Strong foundation in system design, architecture, and backend development.
• A continuous learner who actively seeks to improve both technical skills and engineering processes.
• Experience mentoring team members through code reviews and technical guidance.
• Comfortable working in Agile teams and taking ownership as a proactive, self-driven contributor.
• Passionate about solving complex problems, building scalable systems, and writing high-quality code.
• Hands-on experience with Java and/or Golang.
• Working knowledge of databases and data stores such as DynamoDB, RDS, Aerospike, and Elasticsearch.
• Experience building and operating systems on AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Curious, confident, self-aware, and a first-principles thinker who enjoys tackling challenging problems.
