Backend Developer

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining server-side logic, APIs, and databases that power our applications. You will work closely with front-end developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions. Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain backend services, APIs, and microservices. Write clean, reusable, and efficient code following best practices. Manage and optimize database systems (SQL/NoSQL). Implement security and data protection measures. Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems. Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. Ensure scalability, performance, and reliability of applications. Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration. Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends. Required Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience as a Backend Developer, Software Engineer, or similar role. Strong knowledge of server-side languages and frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, PHP, .NET). Experience with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, etc.). Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, or gRPC. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Understanding of version control systems (Git, GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket). Good knowledge of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have):Experience with microservices architecture. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
