Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain robust server-side applications using Node.js and frameworks like Express.js or Nest.js
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices ensuring performance, security, and scalability
• Integrate and optimize third-party APIs and external services
• Automate backend workflows and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention
• Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and product teams for seamless integration and delivery
• Manage and optimize databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
• Implement proper error handling, logging, and data protection mechanisms
• Conduct regular code optimization, performance tuning, and bug fixing
• Write clear, maintainable, and well-documented code

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and Node.js
• Hands-on experience with Express.js or similar frameworks
• Expertise in API design, authentication (JWT/OAuth), and integration of 3rd party services
• Solid understanding of workflow automation and backend optimization techniques
• Experience with databases (MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ORMs (Mongoose, Sequelize)
• Familiarity with Git, REST APIs, and asynchronous programming
• Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) is an added advantage
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
