Backend Developer | Node/Python | Salesforce Integrations

As we expand our integration ecosystem and AI capabilities, we’re looking for a Backend Developer with strong API integration skills and experience in Node.js or Python, along with Salesforce API/Apex or Salesforce development experience.

You’ll play a key role in connecting Zonka Feedback - our AI-powered customer experience and feedback management platform - with leading tools and CRMs like Salesforce, enabling businesses to automate workflows, gain real-time insights, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. 

Key Responsibilities

•    Design, build, and maintain robust API integrations with Salesforce and other third-party platforms (CRMs, helpdesks, analytics, etc.).

•    Develop and optimize backend services using Node.js or Python.

•    Work with Salesforce APIs, Apex, and related tools for custom integrations and data synchronization.

•    Write clean, modular, and well-documented code that’s easy to maintain.

•    Collaborate with product, QA, and frontend teams to deliver integration features end-to-end.

•    Ensure security, performance, and scalability across all integration services.

•    Troubleshoot and enhance existing integrations for reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications

•    2 to 3 years of experience in backend and integration development.

•    Strong experience with API design, development, and integration (REST, OAuth, Webhooks).

•    Proficiency in Node.js or Python.

•    Hands-on experience with Salesforce APIs, Apex, or Salesforce development.

•    Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.

•    Understanding of scalable architecture and authentication mechanisms.

•    Familiarity with Git and modern development workflows.

•    Prior experience in a SaaS or product-based company is preferred.
