Backend Developer

Job Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer with deep expertise in Node.js, PostgreSQL, and modern backend development practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in API design, database modeling, and system architecture, with hands-on experience using Prisma ORM or similar tools. You’ll be responsible for building scalable, secure, and efficient backend systems that power our applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js and Express / Fastify / NestJS frameworks.
• Develop and optimize RESTful and GraphQL APIs for web and mobile clients.
• Architect and maintain PostgreSQL databases, ensuring data integrity, performance, and scalability.
• Implement and manage data models and schemas using Prisma ORM (or equivalent).
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
• Collaborate with frontend, mobile, and product teams to define and deliver features end-to-end.
• Design and implement authentication, authorization, and access control systems.
• Monitor, debug, and optimize backend performance.Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture decisions.
• Ensure application security, scalability, and robustness.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3+ years of professional backend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Proven experience with PostgreSQL and relational database design.
• Hands-on experience with Prisma ORM or similar (Sequelize, TypeORM, etc.).
• Deep understanding of REST API design and best practices.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, indexes, query optimization, and transaction management.
• Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Knowledge of authentication protocols (JWT, OAuth2) and API security principles.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹60,000.00 per month
