Job Description

Role Overview: As a Consultant - Backend Developer at Genpact, your role involves collaborating with team members to troubleshoot and enhance current back-end applications and processes. You will work closely with front-end developers to improve user experience by crafting functional codes. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing new programs or features, staying updated on industry trends, and participating in ongoing education and training to enhance your skills. Your strong communication and collaboration skills will enable you to work independently and take the lead on projects when required. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with front-end developers and team members to enhance user experience - Develop new programs or features by monitoring industry trends - Participate in continuing education to stay updated on standard methodologies and programming languages - Demonstrate strong communication and collaboration skills - Take the lead on projects as required Qualifications Required: Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in a related subject area or equivalent experience - Experience in detailing technical requirements - Proficiency in multitasking and proactive work responsibilities Preferred Qualifications/ Skills: - Knowledge of Java, Spring Boot - Familiarity with AWS, SQL/PLSQL - Strong core Java background with experience in Collections, Multithreading, Spring Boot, Web Services, Micro-Services Architecture, Data Structure & Algorithm - Understanding of data structure and PL/SQL queries - Good knowledge of Java/J2EE web application technology stack - Ability to integrate existing APIs (REST/SOAP) - Working knowledge of relational databases, SQL queries, Triggers, Materialized Views - Understanding of CI/CD pipeline (Jenkins) - Strong understanding of Version Control Systems (GIT and GitHub) Please note that this job is based in India-Noida and is a full-time position.
