Backend Developer (Spring Boot - Java/Kotlin, Experience) Location: Siddharth Nagar, Kandivali Subject Line for Application: Backend Developer - Spring Boot - Siddharth Nagar, Kandivali Role Overview We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer with 13 years of experience in Spring Boot using Java and/or Kotlin. You will build secure, high-performance APIs and backend services to support our Android, iOS, and web applications. Projects Youll Work On RESTful APIs for mobile and web apps Admin and analytics dashboards Real-time and asynchronous services Microservices or modular monoliths leveraging Spring ecosystem Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Spring Boot (Java/Kotlin). Build RESTful APIs and integrate with front-end and mobile clients. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. Work closely with product and mobile teams to deliver features. Optimize applications for scalability, security, and performance. Implement unit and integration tests. Participate in code reviews and agile ceremonies. Required Skills And Qualifications 13 years of experience with Java and/or Kotlin using Spring Boot. Proficiency in RESTful API design and implementation. Familiarity with databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB. Understanding of JPA/Hibernate and relational data modeling. Version control using Git. Experience with build tools (Maven/Gradle). Knowledge of architectural patterns (MVC, layered, microservices). Preferred Skills Experience with Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar tools. Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines. Exposure to OAuth2/JWT security. Familiarity with asynchronous programming, WebSockets. Bonus Points Contributions to open-source backend projects.
