Key Responsibilities

● Backend Development

Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining backend services using Node.js with Hono.js or Express.js.
Help in building and managing RESTful APIs to power applications and AI workflows.
Learn and support the implementation of microservices architecture.

● Database & Storage

Work with PostgreSQL and SQL for data management and optimization.
Support database schema design and query performance improvement.
Learn to use Redis for caching and session management.

● Messaging & Event-Driven Systems

Get exposure to message buses like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
Understand the basics of event-driven communication in distributed systems.

● Performance & Security

Learn to optimize backend applications for performance and scalability.
Assist in implementing caching strategies, error handling, and security measures.

● Collaboration & Code Quality

Work closely with frontend, AI/ML, and product teams.
Participate in code reviews and follow best coding practices.
Write basic unit and integration tests under guidance.

● DevOps & Deployment

Learn about CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Support deployment and monitoring of backend systems.

Qualifications & Skills

Basic understanding of
Node.js
,
JavaScript
, and
TypeScript
.
Familiarity with
Express.js
or
Hono.js
framework (preferred).
Basic knowledge of
PostgreSQL
,
SQL
, and
Redis
.
Eagerness to learn about
microservices
,
message buses
(Kafka/RabbitMQ), and
cloud deployment
.
Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

Stipend

We can offer between 15k to 25k and duration would be 6 months.
