Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Back End Developer (REMOTE JOB). The Back End Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining server-side components, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to front-end requests. Daily tasks include coding, debugging, and collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements. Additional responsibilities include optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability and implementing security and data protection measures. Skill Node.js Runtime to build high-performance, non-blocking server-side APIs Express.js Lightweight web framework for building RESTful APIs MongoDB Flexible NoSQL database to store user info, video metadata, comments Mongoose ODM (Object Data Modeling) tool to connect Node with MongoDB Redis In-memory cache system to store trending videos, sessions, rate-limiting Firebase Auth OR JWT Secure and scalable user authentication (login, token-based access) AWS S3 Cloud file storage for large video files (long-form content) Multer or BusBoy Handle file uploads in Node.js (especially video files) Cloudinary (optional) For optional video compression, transformation, CDN delivery Rate Limiting (e.g. express-rate-limit) Protect APIs from spam or abuse Pagination / Filtering / Sorting Essential for scalable video feeds & search Git + GitHub Version control and team collaboration FFmpeg Video compression (especially mobile uploads) ElasticSearch Advanced video search in future Socket.io Real-time features (live views, commenting – future) Cron Jobs Daily stat aggregation, email updates Razorpay Future integration for creator monetization Stipend & Growth Month 1: ₹5,000 Month 2: ₹10,000 (based on performance) Month 3: ₹20,000 (based on performance) Top Interns will be offered Full-Time Role at STRMLY → CTC Range: ₹3 LPA to ₹12 LPA Certificate + Letter of Recommendation Work directly with the founder and core tech team Huge learning and startup exposure in India’s next big thing We're not just building a platform.
