Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer proficient in the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing robust, scalable backend solutions, maintaining databases, creating efficient APIs, and collaborating closely with frontend developers and other stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Node.js code. Develop and manage backend APIs using Express.js. Implement and maintain MongoDB databases ensuring optimal performance and security. Collaborate closely with frontend developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions. Conduct regular code reviews, troubleshooting, and debugging to optimize backend services. Document all backend components, database schemas, and API endpoints clearly and effectively. Ensure scalability, security, and responsiveness of applications. Required Skills & Experience: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 2+ years of professional experience in backend development using the MERN stack. Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, and Express.js. Hands-on experience with MongoDB, including schema design, indexing, and query optimization. Experience building RESTful APIs and understanding of HTTP protocol. Familiarity with authentication and authorization frameworks (JWT, OAuth). Strong knowledge of version control using Git. Experience with containerization tools (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (Jira, Trello, Scrum). Desired Skills: Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Experience with performance tuning and optimization of backend services. Exposure to microservices architecture. Good understanding of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, React). Personal Attributes: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
