About the Role

We are seeking a Backend Developer (also known as Node.js Developer / API Developer) to join our engineering team. This role is ideal for early-career professionals who want to strengthen their backend development skills while contributing to real-world projects. You’ll work closely with frontend developers and QA engineers to build robust, secure, and scalable APIs that power our applications.

Core Skills (Mandatory)

• Node.js & Express.js
• REST API development and integration
• API testing (unit and integration tests)
• Familiarity with AWS (good to have, not mandatory)

What You’ll Work With

• Node.js and Express.js for backend services
• REST APIs for application features
• API testing tools and unit test frameworks
• AWS cloud services for deployment and scaling (as exposure grows)

Key Responsibilities

• Build, test, and maintain backend APIs and services.
• Collaborate with frontend developers and QA testers to deliver end-to-end features.
• Optimize API performance, security, and reliability.
• Write clean, modular, and well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing.

What We’re Looking For

• 0–3 years of experience as a Backend Developer / Node.js Developer.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript with Node.js & Express.js.
• Good understanding of RESTful APIs and API testing.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work in a team environment.
