About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Back End Developer to design, build, and maintain robust server-side applications and APIs that power our digital products. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of back-end technologies, database management, and system integration, with a passion for writing clean, efficient, and scalable code.

You will work closely with front-end developers, product managers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality, reliable software solutions that meet business and user needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize server-side applications, APIs, and databases.
• Collaborate with front-end and product teams to design efficient system architectures.
• Ensure application performance, security, and scalability.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across environments.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Implement integration with third-party services and APIs.
• Stay up to date with new technologies, frameworks, and development practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in back-end development.
• Proficiency in at least one server-side language (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, Go, or PHP).
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and web frameworks.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of security best practices and performance optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Must have the legal right to work in Singapore.
