We’re Hiring: Back End Developer Location: Singapore Employment Type: Full-time Level: Mid-Level About the Role We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Back End Developer to design, build, and maintain robust server-side applications and APIs that power our digital products. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of back-end technologies, database management, and system integration, with a passion for writing clean, efficient, and scalable code. You will work closely with front-end developers, product managers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality, reliable software solutions that meet business and user needs. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and optimize server-side applications, APIs, and databases. Collaborate with front-end and product teams to design efficient system architectures. Ensure application performance, security, and scalability. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across environments. Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Implement integration with third-party services and APIs. Stay up to date with new technologies, frameworks, and development practices. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 3–6 years of experience in back-end development. Proficiency in at least one server-side language (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, Go, or PHP). Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and web frameworks. Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB). Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and CI/CD pipelines. Understanding of security best practices and performance optimization. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Must have the legal right to work in Singapore.
