Back End Developer

We're seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our growing engineering team. You'll be responsible for building and maintaining robust, scalable server-side applications using modern Node.js, NestJS frameworks and database technologies.

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js and NestJS framework
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
• Design and implement database schemas, queries, and optimizations in PostgreSQL
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices
• Implement automated testing strategies including unit and integration tests
• Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues in production environments
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical decision-making
• Work with DevOps teams on deployment pipelines and infrastructure management

• 2-3 years of professional backend development experience

• Strong proficiency in

  Node.js

  and

  JavaScript/TypeScript

• Hands-on experience with

  NestJS framework

• Solid experience working with

  PostgreSQL

  database
• Understanding of RESTful API design principles
• Experience with version control systems (Git)
• Knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, or similar)
• Understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture

• Experience with other databases (Redis, MongoDB)
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Experience with message queues and pub/sub patterns
• Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth)
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools
• Familiarity with GraphQL
